Always keen to embrace new technology, he is launching a smart lending platform, called Lendo, which will combine digital asset expertise with long established business wisdom and practices at its root. Effectively, it will bring blockchain technology to the massive personal loans/consumer credit market. Lendo's proprietary software enables conventional lenders to make loans in fiat currencies against cryptocurrency assets stored in its digital vault as collateral. Lendo is initially working with UK FCA licenced and regulated lenders, who are protected against defaults on loans by optional smart contracts and other safeguards provided by Lendo. Lendo will ultimately allow regulated lenders around the world to massively expand their business jurisdictions, because the blockchain has no borders. And Lendo will also provide a range of 'added value' products, such as a merchant payment system, debit cards, digital wallets and more in phase 2 of the roadmap.
